Home Visits

nourishment, rest, support, connection & warmth
Care centered around nourishing the birthing person.
Postpartum home visits can take place anytime within the first year, but can be most helpful between one to six weeks after birth. This time is centered around making sure the birthing person is nourished and has all the proper necessities to heal, mentally and physically from birth.
I'm here to supply warming and nourishing food, process the big life changes that come with birthing a human, help with breastfeeding questions, find you any resources you need, keep a playful and watchful eye over older children, help clean your space and tackle the loads of laundry that tend to pile up with a new baby.
Nourishing Foods
Nourishing foods and drinks can aid in healing, digestion, mental health and help replenish minerals, rebalance hormones and increase milk supply for those choosing to breastfeed, making them an essential part of postpartum healing.
I provide a seasonal menu consisting of current snack and meal options as well as a corresponding grocery list for each new client. I'm also available via call or text for clients with questions or concerns outside of set home visit times.
Breastfeeding Support
I have limited breastfeeding training but I'm happy to help troubleshoot, wash equipment, transfer breastmilk to the freezer and connect you with knowledgable lactation consultants if needed.
Resources
I am here to support you in any way I can. In the event you have questions or concerns I do not know the answer to I have plenty or resources and referrals to help you get the answers you need.
